Every person who is baptized and/or chrismated according to the rites of the Orthodox Church is a Parishioner. The religious, moral, and social duties of a parishioner are to apply the tenets of the Orthodox Faith to his/her life and to faithfully attend the Divine Liturgy; participate in the Holy Sacraments, respect their ecclesiastical leaders and clergy, practice ecclesiastical order and faith, contribute to the Church's progress and sacred mission through time, talent, and stewardship, witness to our Orthodox Faith, and to adhere to the Archdiocese and local Parish by-laws. To be a Member in Good Standing in the Orthodox Church requires time, talents and treasures but more importantly to participate in the Services of our Holy Church every week. That is the Difference between being an active or a passive Orthodox Christian.
