Philoptohos Ladies

Are dedicated orthodox Christians who carry the message of Christ the message of Love to our brothers and sisters who are suffering and are in need , they do so with love and open heart following the teachings of our Lord. They aid the poor, the destitute, the hungry, the aged, the sick, the unemployed, the orphaned, the imprisoned, the widowed, the disabled, the victims of disasters, to offer assistance to anyone who may need the help of the church through fund raising efforts; they promote the charitable, benevolent and philanthropic purposes of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. They preserve and perpetuate Orthodox Christian concepts, and through them, to promote Greek Orthodox Faith and traditions, in accordance with its doctrines. Our Philoptohos promotes the participation in the activities of the Greek Orthodox community, with the cooperation of the Parish Priest and the Parish Council. General meetings are typically held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. from September through June.
